Slade Stretches Hit String to 20 Friday, September 1st, 2034 Nobody has been able to shut down Antioch Coal Miners right fielder Tucker Slade in recent days. The Albuquerque Cacti fared no better than the rest. Today at The Coal Mine, Slade picked up 1 hit in 3 at-bats en route to a 12-8 Coal Miners victory. It stretched his hitting string to 20 consecutive games. Tucker Slade singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and walked in the 8th. To date this year Slade is batting .321 with 10 home runs. |
