Kirk Whitewashes Bumblebees

Pat Kirk held the Pasadena Bumblebees to 2 hits and fashioned a fine 8-0 shutout at The Hole today.
Speaking after the game, Joplin Fireballs manager Chance Jackson said "Kirk had everything going for him today."
He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement," he said. "He was masterful."
Kirk rung up 5 strikeouts and surrendered 2 walks in the game.
"We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," Pasadena manager Ramón Rosário told reporters.
