Phillips Blanks Vancouver Tuesday, August 22nd, 2034 Phil Phillips really had his stuff working at Stars Field today. The Indian Wells Aeropostales hurler mystified the Vancouver Canadians and shut them out 3-0. Phillips allowed a total of 4 hits in the ballgame and struck out 9. "The shutout is nice but I'm just happy we won," Phillips said with a smile after the game. "Coach can be a real bear when we lose." This year Phillips has a 10-7 mark in 24 starts with a 4.88 ERA.
