Charnley Blanks Fairfield Tuesday, August 22nd, 2034 Evan Charnley really had his stuff working at Durham Bulls Athletic Park today. The Reno Rockets hurler mystified the Fairfield Flash and shut them out 9-0. Charnley allowed a total of 10 hits in the ballgame and struck out 7. "The shutout is nice but I'm just happy we won," Charnley said with a smile after the game. "Coach can be a real bear when we lose." This year Charnley has a 6-4 mark in 14 starts with a 4.67 ERA.
