July's Best Starter Named in DKL Tuesday, August 1st, 2034 In July, Julio Rivera tore through the Darryl Kile League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 22 years old. The young Billings starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 3.21 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 28 innings he collected 26 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .291 average. Up to now Rivera has compiled an ERA of 4.34 with a 9-4 mark over 20 starts. He has 83 strikeouts in 91.1 innings and has held opponents to a .293 batting average. |
