Espanola First Baseman Nets NAL Award Monday, July 24th, 2034 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Nick Adenhart League, but last week Yoshihiro Suzuki of the Espanola Bomberos reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Suzuki rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (6-for-12), 2 home runs and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Suzuki is hitting .284, produced 43 RBIs and 9 home runs, scored 37 times and gotten on base at a .361 rate. |
