DKL Player of the Week, Márquez of Billings Monday, July 10th, 2034 So far in his young career, Ramón Márquez has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Darryl Kile League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Billings Mustangs right fielder hit at a torrid .429 clip as he collected 9 hits in 21 at-bats, 4 home runs, 11 RBIs and 5 runs scored. For the season Márquez has produced 104 hits in 314 at-bats for a .331 average with 19 home runs and gotten on base at a .393 clip. |
