Big Bat Pays Off, Watt Player of the Week Monday, July 3rd, 2034 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Darryl Kile League, but last week John Watt of the Bronx Bombers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Watt rocked opposing pitching for a .588 average (10-for-17), 3 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Watt is hitting .412 with 7 home runs. |
