Injury Takes Toll, Fernando Murillo Out Thursday, June 8th, 2034 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Baristas when after today's game against the Titans, the club found out they would be without the services of Fernando Murillo for at least 6 weeks. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Murillo was injured earlier today throwing the ball and suffered forearm inflammation. For the season Murillo is currently batting .280 with 4 home runs and 14 RBIs. In 14 games he has reached base at a .362 rate and scored 10 runs to date. |
