Bronx's Hardwick to Miss Season
Sunday, May 28th, 2034
The Bronx Bombers and their fans were rocked today by the news that star reliever Wes Hardwick would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Hardwick was hurt in a recent game against the Indian Wells Aeropostales while throwing a pitch. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. His doctors think that Hardwick will miss about 9 months.

This season Hardwick has recorded 2 saves with a 0-1 record. He's made 7 relief appearances, tossed 10.2 innings while fanning 10 with a 0.84 ERA.
