Bad Behavior Costs Park and Bennett Wednesday, May 24th, 2034 If there wasn't a history between Won-keun Park of Bowling Green and Charlie Bennett of Reno, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 9 games as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Park said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." Park is hitting .318 in 2034 with 20 RBIs and 6 home runs. To date this year Bennett has won 3 and lost 2 with a 2.35 ERA, 4 saves and 23 strikeouts in 28 relief appearances. |
