Downing 5-for-5 for Bombers Saturday, May 20th, 2034 Curtis Downing said "it felt like taking batting practice" today at Bronx Ballpark, and it showed in the box score. The Bronx center fielder had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Peoria Caterpillars, leading his club to victory, 10-8. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Downing said later." Curtis Downing doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th and hit a two-run double in the 7th.
