Coal Miners Shut Out Caterpillars, Ogawa Winner Tuesday, May 9th, 2034 The Peoria Caterpillars manager was philosophical in the clubhouse following a shutout loss to the Antioch Coal Miners. The Caterpillars were overpowered by Antioch starter Takeji Ogawa, who hurled his club to victory, 7-0. "It was just one of those games -- shake it off and do better next time," Roberto Martínez said. Over 9 innings, Ogawa blanked Peoria on 6 hits with 1 walk and 10 strikeouts. "I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs because they were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Ogawa said.
