Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Brown Tuesday, May 2nd, 2034 Elijah Brown ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at LaGrave Field, when he collected 1 hit in 1 at-bat. The feat came, however, as the Antioch Coal Miners dropped the game, 5-4, to the Fort Worth Cats. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Brown said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Elijah Brown hit an RBI double in the 7th. So far this season Brown has put up a .449 batting average with 31 hits, 4 home runs and 18 RBIs. |
