Player of the Week Trophy to Sasaki Monday, April 24th, 2034 At the age of 28, Mitsuo Sasaki might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Reno catcher put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .500 batting average. For his efforts Sasaki collected the Nick Adenhart League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 10 hits in 20 at-bats, 5 home runs and 14 RBIs last week in 5 games. So far this season Sasaki is hitting .254 with 6 home runs. |
