Lucero, Fujii Receive 2-Game Suspensions Thursday, April 20th, 2034 Astoria and Antioch were informed today by the league's commissioner that two of their players have been given 2-game suspensions, citing their "inappropriate actions" in the recent altercation in a game played at Golden Fleece Park. For their parts in the bench-clearing episode, the Argonauts Robby Lucero and the Coal Miners Takashi Fujii will be sitting on the sidelines and will not be permitted to participate in games until the suspensions are served. So far this season Lucero has hit .346 with 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 9 times. |
