Big Day for Rodríguez: Swats 5 Hits Friday, April 14th, 2034 It seemed that Billings first baseman Jorge Rodríguez could do no wrong as the Mustangs KO'd the Bombers, 8-2 today. Rodríguez rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Bombers hurlers were throwing. "I think the Mustangs were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Bronx fan after the game. "I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Rodríguez in the postgame press interview. Jorge Rodríguez singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
