McFarland Selected DKL's Premier Player Sunday, November 13th, 2033 The manager of the Antioch Coal Miners said he thinks Scott McFarland is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 21, but it will be hard to top the first baseman's 2033 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Darryl Kile League Most Valuable Player Award. His winning campaign featured a .323 batting average and a .380 on-base percentage this year. In 161 games he piled up 212 hits, 40 doubles, 1 triple, 36 home runs, 142 RBIs and 122 runs scored. Jeff Bettcher of the Billings Mustangs finished second in voting, while Manny Durán of the Antioch Coal Miners finished third. |
