Nobutsugu Yamaguchi, the Fairfield Flash 22-year-old right fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Nick Adenhart League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 14 hits in 30 at-bats, compiling a .467 average with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. This season Yamaguchi has delivered 118 hits in 394 at-bats for a .299 average with 21 home runs.
