Season Over for Apupa Yavar in Scranton Sunday, October 2nd, 2033 The season is ending on a bad note for Apupa Yavar, reliever for the Scranton Escape. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Yavar was hurt against the Bowling Green Racers while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn labrum and will be out for at least 4-5 months. To date this year Yavar has saved 0 games while tossing 20 innings. He has a 5.85 ERA, fanned 18 batters and made 13 relief appearances. |
