September's DKL Top Pitcher is Raiders Bignold Saturday, October 1st, 2033 Over the past month Maurice Bignold has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Darryl Kile League. He proved all that and now he's been named September's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Reno Raiders posted 4-1 mark and a 1.64 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 33 innings, permitted 31 hits and fanned 31 batters. Checking out his stats for the season, Bignold has notched 10 wins and 8 losses in 30 starts, 4.74 ERA and struck out 137 batters in 172.2 innings. |
