Bettcher: Big Hit in the Darryl Kile League Monday, September 26th, 2033 So far in his young career, Jeff Bettcher has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Darryl Kile League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Billings Mustangs right fielder hit at a torrid .667 clip as he collected 20 hits in 30 at-bats, 2 home runs, 13 RBIs and 14 runs scored. Looking at his stats this year, Bettcher has compiled a .390 batting average, while hitting 13 home runs and driving in 84 runs. He has played in 134 games and scored 104 runs. |
