Yaichiro Tamura Injured, Out for Season

Yaichiro Tamura has to call it a season. The Minneapolis Freeze starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Bronx Bombers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Tamura was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a damaged elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 11-12 months.

This year Tamura has gone 6-6 with an ERA of 4.15 and has 60 strikeouts in 82.1 innings.
