The Scranton Escape reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Canton Paczkis and will not play again this year according to club doctors. De was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn labrum and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months. De has taken the mound for 41 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 4-3 record with a 4.18 ERA. The Scranton reliever has limited opposing batters to a .293 batting average. |
