Player of the Week Trophy to Hernández Monday, September 12th, 2033 At the age of 31, Carlos Hernández might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Billings left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .417 batting average. For his efforts Hernández collected the Darryl Kile League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 10 hits in 24 at-bats, 6 home runs and 13 RBIs last week in 6 games. So far this season Hernández has put up a .260 batting average with 50 hits, 17 home runs and 45 RBIs. |
