Playoffs? No Chance for Coronado Thursday, September 8th, 2033 Jamie DeWoody said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Coronado Phantoms after they missed the TRIPLE A playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Phantoms have missed the playoffs 17 times in their 21 years as a TRIPLE A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2024. In the last 10 seasons, the Phantoms have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
