Darryl Kile League Names Top Player Monday, September 5th, 2033 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Darryl Kile League, but last week Tony Kruger of the Astoria Argonauts reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Kruger rocked opposing pitching for a .519 average (14-for-27), 7 home runs and 13 RBIs to come away with the award. Kruger is hitting .345 this year with 15 home runs, 63 RBIs and 74 runs scored. He has 138 hits in 400 at-bats, 57 walks and a .430 on-base percentage. Kruger has played in 101 games. |
