Ortíz Earns August's Top Batter Prize in NAL Thursday, September 1st, 2033 Jesús Ortíz put together a good August to earn the Nick Adenhart League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Canton officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Paczkis first baseman posted a .417 batting average with 12 home runs, 25 RBIs and 22 runs scored. Presently Ortíz is batting .272 and has collected 20 home runs, 73 RBIs, .316 OBP and scored 69 runs. |
