DKL Player of the Week Named Monday, August 29th, 2033 20-year-old Robbie Quiroz made a few Billings headlines during this past week as the rookie shortstop proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Darryl Kile League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 14 hits in 25 at-bats to put up a .560 average. Quiroz collected no home runs, 2 RBIs and scored 9 runs. So far on the season Quiroz is hitting .485 with no home runs, 4 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has 16 hits and played in 12 games. |
