Season-Ending Injury for Ron Robinson Sunday, August 28th, 2033 Ron Robinson of the Aeropostales just might have to call it quits for the season. The 33-year-old Indian Wells reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Canton Paczkis recently at Stars Field. Robinson suffered a torn back muscle while throwing a pitch. The Aeropostales medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4 months. This year Robinson has 8 relief appearances with no saves, 8-6 season record and a 3.33 ERA. He has hurled 113.2 innings, given up 124 hits, struck out 129 and walked 47. Opposing clubs have batted .281 against the Indian Wells reliever. |
