DKL Names Top Player of the Week Monday, August 15th, 2033 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Darryl Kile League, but last week Manny Silva of the Joplin Fireballs reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Silva rocked opposing pitching for a .458 average (11-for-24), 2 home runs and 4 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Silva is batting .239 with 18 home runs. |
