Just ask Hisataro Sato, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Albuquerque Cacti reliever, 23, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .118 average and walked away with the Nick Adenhart League Pitcher of the Month award for July. Sato posted a 1-0 mark and a 0.00 ERA in 14 relief appearances. In 15.1 innings, he had 11 saves, 21 strikeouts, and 11 walks. Taking a look at his season stats for 2033, Sato has made 49 relief appearances, recorded 32 saves and compiled a 4-2 won-lost mark with a 1.81 ERA. In pitching 54.2 innings, he has totaled 72 strikeouts and 33 walks. |
