Indian Wells's Carreiras to Miss Season Tuesday, July 26th, 2033 Luciano Carreiras has to call it a season. The Indian Wells Aeropostales starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Coronado Phantoms and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Carreiras was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn ulnar collateral ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 12-13 months.
