DKL Names Top Player of the Week Monday, July 25th, 2033 So far in his young career, Mike Conard has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Darryl Kile League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Pasadena Bumblebees first baseman hit at a torrid .667 clip as he collected 6 hits in 9 at-bats, 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 2 runs scored. This season in 60 games, Conard has hit at a .405 clip with 87 hits, 12 home runs, 39 RBIs and 28 runs scored. |
