NAL Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, July 25th, 2033 24-year-old Munoto Okuta made a few Albuquerque headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Nick Adenhart League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 6 hits in 9 at-bats to put up a .667 average. Okuta collected 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 5 runs. This year Okuta is batting .258 with 67 hits and 17 home runs. He has scored 48 times and has batted in 54 runs. |
