Kodiaks Armando Espinoza Down and Out for Year Friday, July 22nd, 2033 The season is finished for Armando Espinoza of the Calgary Kodiaks. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Kodiaks shortstop suffered a broken bone in the elbow while colliding with a player at a base in a recent game against the Astoria Argonauts. Team doctors said it would take at least 8 months to heal. Hitting .308 to date, Espinoza has 9 home runs and 39 RBIs. He has played in 59 games. |
