5-Hit Game for Bahena Friday, July 15th, 2033 It was a downpour of hits for Alex Bahena at Excavatar Park today. The Antioch Coal Miners second baseman tore into Peoria for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace the Coal Miners to a rain-delayed 13-3 victory. Peoria manager Roberto Martínez bemoaned his pitching, speculating his club got flustered by Bahena's big day. "He was beating us and we stopped locating well," he said. "That makes you get behind in the count and you can't do that when a guy is hot like Bahena was today. Not to take anything away from him, but bad location was the story of the ballgame." Alex Bahena singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
