Dunn's Season Could be Over Saturday, July 2nd, 2033 The season is finished for Giichiro Dunn of the Albuquerque Cacti. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Cacti center fielder suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament while running the bases in a recent game against the Billings Mustangs. Team doctors said it would take at least 7 months to heal. This year Dunn has collected a .250 batting average to date with 9 hits in 36 at-bats, 1 RBIs, no home runs and scored 5 times. He has played in 10 games. |
