Fred Campbell Sidelined for Season Tuesday, June 28th, 2033 The season is apparently over for Fred Campbell. The Acapulco Banditos medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 10 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Campbell was hurt in the game against Canton while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This year Campbell has recorded a 4-4 mark. In 11 starts he has fanned 38 batters in 52.2 innings with a 5.30 ERA. |
