Week's #1 Player: Pasadena's Sánchez Monday, June 27th, 2033 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Darryl Kile League, but last week Odalis Sánchez of the Pasadena Bumblebees reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Sánchez rocked opposing pitching for a .440 average (11-for-25), 5 home runs and 9 RBIs to come away with the award. Presently Sánchez is batting .256 with 45 hits and 17 home runs. He has knocked in 32 runs and scored 27 times. |
