Fujimoto Goes 5-for-5
Friday, June 17th, 2033
The Fort Worth Cats stopped the Canton Paczkis by a score of 8-5 at Mckinley Park today, with the lion's share of the credit going to first baseman Hirokichi Fujimoto. The 24-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.

"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Fujimoto said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."

Fujimoto did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Paczkis.

"Not much that I can say," offered Canton manager Omar Arteaga. "He just hammered the heck out of us."

Hirokichi Fujimoto hit an RBI single in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and tripled in the 8th.

A look at his season totals shows Fujimoto with 7 home runs, .267 BA, .360 OBP, 28 RBIs and 25 runs scored.
