More Woes For Flash Jesús Díaz Thursday, June 9th, 2033 Fairfield Flash starting pitcher Jesús Díaz got another setback today. His doctors informed him that his injury was not responding to treatment as well as they hoped and that he would need more time to rehabilitate. If all goes well, they expect Díaz to be ready to go within 3-4 weeks. He told BNN, "I didn't expect chronic back soreness to take this long to heal." For this year Díaz has chalked up 4 wins and 1 loss in 8 starts with 50 strikeouts in 50.2 innings and a 2.31 ERA. |
