Big Bat Pays Off, Martin Player of the Week Monday, June 6th, 2033 It was some kind of week for Lonnie Martin of the Bronx Bombers. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .588 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Darryl Kile League. Last week Martin went 10-for-17, chalked up 3 home runs and 6 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. This year Martin has hit at a .433 clip with 13 hits, 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. |
