Escape Bassett Snags NAL Player of the Week Monday, May 30th, 2033 Jeremy Bassett burst onto the Nick Adenhart League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie first baseman for Scranton garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 21-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .615 (16-for-26) with 2 home runs and 13 RBIs last week. This year Bassett is batting .405 with 60 hits and 9 home runs.
