Hiller's Hit Streak Over Monday, May 2nd, 2033 Fletch Hiller went 0-for-1 at Albuquerque Sports Stadium today to break his consecutive-game hitting streak at 27 games. The 21-year-old Antioch center fielder failed to get a hit today in the Coal Miners 10-6 victory over the Albuquerque Cacti at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Hiller did not make himself available to reporters after the game. "I think Fletch is a little upset," Antioch manager Hervé Barthélémy said. "He'll get over it." |
