Borlase Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Friday, April 29th, 2033 Conor Borlase, right fielder for the Astoria Argonauts, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 1 hit in his club's 5-2 victory today over the Detroit Death Stars at Golden Fleece Park today. "Not the outcome we wanted," Detroit manager David Parker said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Conor Borlase struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, walked in the 6th and singled in the 7th. This season Borlase is batting .360 with 4 home runs. He has scored 14 runs and driven in 13. |
