Astoria's Southern DKL Star of the Week Monday, April 25th, 2033 So far in his young career, Will Southern has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Darryl Kile League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Astoria Argonauts left fielder hit at a torrid .400 clip as he collected 10 hits in 25 at-bats, 6 home runs, 11 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This year Southern is batting .333 with 25 hits and 10 home runs. He has scored 16 times and has batted in 18 runs. |
