Kansas City Tornadoes, Islanders Agree to Trade Saturday, December 16th, 2034 Both sides appear content with the trade finalized today that will send $1 in cash to the Hawaii Islanders, while the Kansas City Tornadoes will receive 33-year-old RF Gilberto Jiménez, 26-year-old minor league LF Daniel Harris, 20-year-old minor league LHP Alfonso Robles and 23-year-old minor league RHP Luis Rodríguez. "This is a move that filled a few gaps in our roster," said Tim Ervin, Tornadoes general manager. For his part, the Islanders GM said the trade was made "in the best interest of our organization's future." BNN analysts reported that on paper the trade seemed to be a plus for both ball clubs.
