Hardy Sits out with Day-to-Day Injury
Wednesday, October 25th, 2034
It's a long season and everyone picks up some cuts and bruises along the way. The latest star to be suffering this year is Joe Hardy of the Havana Stogies, who suffered an elbow strain while throwing a pitch in yesterday's contest against Hawaii. While he could play through the injury, it's unclear whether or not the Havana organization will risk that or simply sit him out for the 1-2 weeks the injury is expected to last.
So far in 32 appearances this season, Hardy has recorded 21 wins and sustained 2 losses. He has pitched 238.1 innings, yielded 159 hits, fanned 243 and has a 1.55 ERA.
