Beavers Come up Short of Playoffs Wednesday, October 11th, 2034 The Portland Beavers season has ultimately ended in disappointment. After staying in the hunt until the final days of the season, Portland has now been officially eliminated from playoff qualification. "We were so close," catcher Ralph Blair said wistfully. The Beavers have missed the playoffs 10 times in their 22 years as a ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE franchise.
